REB Research & Consulting was founded in 1987 by Robert Buxbaum to consult on hydrogen separations and membrane reactors. With the aid of an SBIR grant, we developed a new type of hydrogen purification membrane, and began manufacturing. We aim to combine the best quality equipment with strong customer support. We serve laboratories and larger manufacturers.
REB Research also makes hydrogen getters generally involving palladium-coated vanadium alloys, and is the only commercial manufacturer of membrane reactors used to increase the conversion and decrease the volume in reforming processes.
Robert E. Buxbaum earned his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at Princeton University in 1981 and his B.E. in Chemical Engineering at Cooper Union in 1976.
