Originating in 1955 as the T.C. Biebesheimer Engineering Company, the firm later evolved into Mannik & Smith, Inc., focusing mainly on highway and bridge design. In the 1980’s, the company added environmental services to compliment its civil engineering capabilities and created Midwest Environmental Consultants. The two companies merged in 2000 and now operate solely as The Mannik & Smith Group, Inc. (MSG). In 2006, MSG merged with the former Braun-Prenosil Associates, which now operates as MSG’s Northeast Ohio Office.

MSG is a full-service engineering consulting firm that offers a wide array of services including civil and geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, surveying and construction support. MSG takes pride in being a single source asset for its clients and in its ability to anticipate and exceed client expectations.

Today with more than 200 employees, MSG provides quality engineering consulting services from its offices near Toledo, Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio and Detroit, Lansing and Monroe, Michigan.
