I am a part-time student at EMU and a full-time Accountant for a successful veterinary hospital in Southfield, MI. I very much want to be part of the solution to help the environment and have begun the transformation by purchasing a Toyota Prius, eating more organic foods, replacing window in my home with Energy Star windows, and replacing light bulbs with CF bulbs. I would really like to install solar panels and geothermal heating in my home, but the price of those intallations keep me from being able to do it. I'm hoping that more options to install these items will be become available in the near future in Michigan.
