John Anderson has worked in energy management for over 25 years, conducting energy audits in residential, commercial, industrial, institutional and agricultural facilities throughout the Great Lakes region representing utility companies and governmental agencies. He has worked for commercial and industrial electrical contractors and distributors, engineering and selling energy efficient lighting systems and electrical equipment. Most recently he has provided energy management consulting services to the State of Michigan Energy Office for the Rebuild Michigan – Energy Services program, marketing the program, performing Introductory Energy Evaluations, benchmarking client facilities in EPA’s Energy Star Buildings Portfolio Manager, assisting clients with Technical Energy Analyses and planning for future projects and reporting on successful project implementations; and Michigan Interfaith Power & Light congregations during 2007 and 2008, performing energy assessments on member facilities . He is a Certified Lighting Efficiency Professional (Association of Energy Engineers). John is a 1979 graduate of the University of Michigan with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics.
