MEAP was originally started to bring news and information to the public concerning the rush of new coal fired power plants in Michigan. In this regard, we became well versed in alternatives to old technology applications and completely convinced that the new green energy options that exist will benefit our state many times more than the application of old technologies.
We support schools, community groups, and the public with up to date information, as well as advocacy to the political leadership within the state of Michigan.
We look forward to helping any Michigan Green member obtain and use current information regarding green energy, and to work toward steering our state leadership in a new direction concerning new energy use and the opportunities it can bring to the state.
